Instagram allows us to save posts that we like, to then check them any time we want. Moreover, we can create a bunch of collections where we can save different kinds of posts. For example, if you like both food and art, you can create two collections that will allow you to separate the posts according to their category.
Fortunately, there is no limit as to how many collections you can create. So, you can pretty much have a collection for everything you like. Food, art, music, clothes, etc. But, how do we even create a collection? Is that a hard thing to do?
Well, the simple answer is no. As a matter of fact, you can easily create your collections by tapping your screen a few times. And today we are going to teach you how to do just that.
How to Create Instagram Collections
So, the first thing you need to know is that there are two ways to create a collection. The first of them all is to open up Instagram on your phone and scroll down until you find a post that you want to save. Then, hold the save icon located on the bottom right of the post, and wait for a menu to pop up.
Finally, tap the + icon on the top right of the “Save to” menu and enter the name of your collection. Then, go back to your feed and enjoy. Now, there’s another way in which you can create collections to save your posts. You will need to tap a few extra options. But, that’s okay, we’re still going to teach you how to do it.
So, what you want to do is go to your Instagram profile and then enter your settings. Tap the account option and then go to where it says saved. There, you will find a + icon that you can tap to create a collection.
Give the collection a name and then you will be asked to select the saved posts that you want to add to it. Simply tap them and then click done. That’s it! No need to do anything else.
As far as we know, it seems that there is no limit as to how many collections you can create. There is also no limit to how many posts you can save in one collection. As a matter of fact, one of the collections we created for this article has over one hundred saved posts.
Interesting, right? So, tell us, which collections do you have on Instagram?
