Learn To Hide Your Instagram Activity Status
Instagram continues to release new updates much faster every time. On this occasion, the photo-sharing app has decided to allow users to know when someone is online. Of course, this is not something that everyone likes.
However, there is nothing to worry about, as it is possible to hide your activity status while you are using Instagram. Now, as so happens with most of Instagram’s features, doing this only takes at most a couple of minutes. And all you need to do is tap your screen a few times!
Here’s how to hide your Instagram activity status:
Walk Through
In order to hide your Instagram activity status, you need to open up the app and then go to your profile. Once you have done that, you need to enter your settings and scroll down until you find an option that says:
Show Activity Status.
Simply tap it, and you will no longer have to worry about people knowing when you are online.
How To See Someone’s Instagram Activity Status
It is important to keep in mind that if you want to check someone’s activity status, you need to go to your direct messages.
In order to do that, simply open up the photo-sharing app. Once you are on the homepage, click the paper plane icon located on the top right of your screen.
Doing so will allow you to enter your direct messages. Once there, you will be able to tell whether someone is online or not. That is of course if your contacts have not disabled the activity status option.
Note
Keep in mind that by entering your direct messages, you can also check the last connection of your contacts. That is of course, if they haven’t disabled the activity status option on their profile settings.
