At present, Instagram is the most complete platform in the whole world. They work hard to release new features for users to enjoy. And now we could soon see an Instagram donation function on stories.
So, here’s the thing. Recently, Instagram decided to announce their desire to launch a donation sticker for stories. Currently, this function is still in the development stage. Therefore, it could be a while before we see it in action.
The overall idea of this sticker is to support non-profit organizations with accounts on Instagram. However, we still don’t know whether the donation sticker will only allow users to send money, or clothes etc.
Either way, we’ll have an option to help people in need.
There are a ton of non-profit organizations on Instagram. Some aim to help people, while others strive to help animals. Either way, we are confident that once the donation sticker is released, things are going to change for the better.
In other words, more people will receive help and have better lives. So, if you feel like you could provide a grain of sand to help children, animals, and people in general, here are some non-profit Instagram accounts you should follow.
Doctors Without Borders
Doctors Without Borders is an international humanitarian medical NGO of French origin. It’s best known for its projects in conflict zones, and in countries affected by endemic diseases.
They provide assistance to people in crisis in over 60 countries, and spread awareness of the inhumanities they have to face every single day.
Charity Water is a non-profit organization that provides drinking water to people in developing countries. So far, they have helped fund 24,537 projects in 24 countries. Thankfully, their dedication has benefited over 8.2 million people worldwide.
Barcs is another non profit organization, dedicated to saving stray animals. They are based in Baltimore city and help save the lives of 11,000 animals each year.
Barcs is not very well known internationally. Nevertheless, they continue to work day after day to provide the best care for these animals who have no one to take care of them. They offer different services through their website that are then used to cover the expenses of saving stray animals.
Even though there’s not too much information regarding this topic, the idea of a donation sticker actually sounds pretty good. None of us will be forced to donate any money. So, technically there shouldn’t be a reason for users to be mad about the upcoming feature.
As a matter of fact, this new function could help millions of people in need. And hopefully animals as well. For now, we’ll just have to wait until this becomes a reality – and choose whether or not we want to help.
