There are multiple ways in which a person can make money online – from starting an e-commerce business, to creating vlogs and more. This last one is actually a pretty profitable niche.
Today we are going to tell you a few of the methods you can use to make money as an Instagram vlogger.

1. Brand Deals
So, the first method is to work with brands. Instagram vloggers make a great deal of money when working for a brand. And the best part is that they don’t really have to do much. As a matter of fact, promoting the company they are working with seals the deal.
Now, as for the amount of money they make, there are some variables. For example, a vlogger with a million followers can charge up to $15 000 per post. Whereas a vlogger with only a hundred thousand followers can charge way less.
In short, the number of followers a vlogger has influences the amount of money they can make.

2. Affiliate Marketing
Another great way to make money as an Instagram vlogger is to be part of an affiliate program. Currently, there are many sites that pay you a small percentage of their sales, if you get people to buy their products.
But, how does this work? Well, it’s pretty easy actually. All you need to do is let your followers know about certain products, and wait for them to interact with that information. In most cases, there will be people ready to buy such products and thus, help you earn a reward.

How Is It Different From Paid Promotions
So, how is this different from paid promotions? Well, a paid promotion is sort of a one-time thing. A brand pays you to promote a product and after that, it’s over.
An affiliate marketing program on the other hand, is a bit different. For example, let’s imagine that you are an Instagram travel vlogger. Of course, you need to have a camera, a laptop etc.
So, you link your followers to a site from where they can buy your equipment, and for every purchase they make, you earn a piece of the profit.
In a nutshell, an affiliate marketing program helps you earn money constantly without having to promote something multiple times. Whereas a paid promotion is often a one-time deal that if were to be repeated, would require you to promote a product more than once.
3. Merchandise
Finally, the merch card never fails. There are literally millions of people buying merchandise from their favourite vloggers every day. Of course, in order for you to sell something of your own, you would first need to be popular on social media.
So, let’s give an example. I am a huge fan of a travel vlogger called Luis. Luis has a YouTube channel called “Luisito comunica” with an audience of 22 million people. However, he is also very active on Instagram and promotes his merchandise through that platform.
As a result, he generates money by simply selling stuff that he knows his fans will love (t-shirts, caps, etc). In other words, if you are popular on Instagram, use that to your advantage and start creating merchandise.
Note
These are probably the most common ways to make money as an Instagram vlogger. However, there are many other alternatives that one can use to earn some bucks.
As a matter of fact, there are vloggers that opt for selling their pictures, and in some very rare cases, even their own accounts. Now, remember, there is plenty of room on Instagram for you to start making money.
So, if your dream is to become an Instagram vlogger and live from the money you generate on the platform, you can do it! It all depends on you.
