2Brazil – 66 million
Brazil is the second country with the most Instagram users in the world. The South American country has a population of 210 million people. And a total of 66 million Instagram users. In other words, 31 percent of Brazil’s population have an Instagram account.
However, back in 2017, the numbers were a little different. As a matter of fact, Brazil only had 27 million Instagram users. So, an additional 18 percent of Brazilian people joined the photo-sharing platform over the last 2 years.
1U.S.A – 110 million
Finally, the United States of America is the number one country with the most Instagram users in the world. Uncle Sam’s land has a population of 329 million people. It became the first country to have the most Instagram users on the planet and hasn’t lost its title ever since.
In 2017, 89 million Americans had an Instagram account. However, 2 years later, in 2019, the number grew by 21 million. Therefore, there are 110 million American people who have an Instagram account. That’s 33.5% of the whole United State’s population!
