Let’s be honest, Instagram has grown in recent years more than anyone expected. When Mark Zuckerberg saw the future of this social network and snapped it up in a deal worth $1billion in 2012 everybody thought he is just throwing money away. As at the time, Instagram had only 30 million users. Today, Instagram has about 700 million with 400 million people active on Instagram on a monthly basis.
With over 400 million active users on internet and more people joining every day, chances are the next target market is Instagram.
Instagram not only harbors a community of active social networkers, it also delivers more sales and consumer actions than any other social platform, according to a study by Japanese app Takumi.
The study showed that over 68% of age 18-24 agree that they are more inclined to buy something after a person they are following on Instagram shared it. This is simply because this network is seen as a beautiful, sophisticated network.
