Finally one of the most requested Instagram features is here!!! The ability to save drafts in Instagram and post them at a later date. The picture-sharing app rolled out a drafts feature this Tuesday that allows people to save a photo at any time while using the app.
And using the new tool is super easy, see how to do it below.
Trying to create a post that’s just right? With the latest update, you can save as a draft & come back to it later. https://t.co/7lZ0eyNtBC

You still can’t make any modifications to a photo that you have already posted, but this is still a huge improvement.
Happy editing, Instagrammers!
How to save drafts on Instagram
Once you start creating a post, you can save it as a draft and share it later:
- Tap
at the bottom of the screen, then take or upload a photo or video
- Add effects, filters, a caption or your location
- Go back to the filtering and editing step, then tap the back arrow in the top left
- Select Save Draft at the bottom of the screen
Note that if you don’t edit the post, tag people or add a caption or location, you won’t be able to save the post as a draft.
To see posts you’ve saved as a draft, tap and then tap Library. Posts will appear at the bottom of the screen below Drafts.
